Burwell Architects are part of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine's Framework team to deliver a range of refurbishment projects for their Grade II Listed building at Keppel Street. Situated on the ground floor of the building, rooms G.04 and G.05 were originally designed and built as the Board Room and Staff Common Room, respectively. Part of the project brief for the refurbishment was to restore the rooms back to their original character, and upgrade the technical facilities to meet the standards of contemporary conferencing and meeting requirements. Numerous design layouts were developed and tested for both rooms, using existing and new, fixed and flexible furniture.

The project is now complete and in use by the LSHTM.
