Burnt Mill Project, Acquired by Harlow Council, Earns Prestigious Awards and Nominations

October 2024

These high-quality luxury apartments aim to revitalise the area and provide affordable housing

Our Burnt Mill project in Harlow has received a Highly Commended award in the Best Large Development category at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2024. Additionally, it has been shortlisted for the Building Innovation Awards 2024, marking the seventh award nomination for this project.

This development offers high-quality luxury apartments aimed at revitalising one of Harlow’s key gateway locations. Positioned alongside the new north-to-centre sustainable transport corridor, it supports walking, cycling, and rapid bus routes to and from Harlow, connecting the new homes at Gilston with the town centre as part of the Harlow and Gilston Garden Town project.

The 15-storey, mixed-use residential tower showcases our expertise in high-density urban residential development. Owned by Harlow Council, 30% of the project’s 52 apartments—three times more than initially approved—will be allocated to Harlow families on the Housing Needs Register, providing homes at affordable rent levels.

The building incorporates a precast/prefabricated frame and façade system, as well as prefabricated bathroom and kitchen pods.
