Completing Part 3 is the last major challenge designers face before becoming fully qualified architects
We are thrilled to announce that two more members of the Burwell Architects team, Dominik and Tom, have successfully completed their Part 3 qualifications, solidifying their status as fully qualified architects.
Dominik passed his Part 3 in October 2024 and was officially registered with the ARB in November 2024. Since joining us in January 2023, he has been working diligently on the refurbishment of Kent House, a historic 1920s office building in Central London. His sensitive approach to blending contemporary design with heritage fabric has been outstanding. Dominik’s role involved the meticulous coordination of bespoke designs within the constraints of an existing heritage structure, showcasing his ability to balance innovation with respect for historical context.
With a background in concept and masterplan design for both small- and large-scale residential developments, Dominik brings a unique perspective to his projects. His attention to detail and commitment to preserving architectural heritage while delivering modern functionality have been key to his success.
Tom, who joined us in October 2022, has led high-end domestic projects through RIBA stages 2 to 6, demonstrating his technical expertise and hands-on approach to complex construction challenges. His experience spans the full spectrum of the design and planning process, with a particular focus on where he played a substantive role on-site during construction.
Tom’s ability to navigate complex construction challenges and his dedication to seeing projects through from conception to completion have been instrumental in delivering exceptional results. His technical expertise and commitment have made him a valuable asset to the team.
