We are thrilled to have been shortlisted for an RIBA London Award this year, for our sensitive refurbishment of the Grade 2* Listed CharlesClore House, designed by Sir Denys Lasdun. A phased refurbishment of the building has improved the occupant wellbeing, accessibility, security and environmental performance of this iconic brutalist building. Significant research was put into the development of an interior design approach to this important example of modernist architecture. A materials palette consisting of anodised aluminium, painted metalwork, stained timber, fabrics and period colours complements the distinctive 1970’s aesthetic and exemplar concrete finishes.

The RIBA London Award ceremony will take place at RIBA Headquarters, 66 Portland Place on Thursday, 25 May 2023.
